Phil Coton 3 - OEKO-TEX standard 100

This yarn is part of the GOTS and Eco-friendly collection of the Portuguese wool manufacturer Rosários4. The yarns in this collection are very high quality, warm, breathable, wonderfully soft to the touch. 
Iaque/Yak wool is one of the softest and warmest natural fibers. This wool comes from the yak - a bovine that lives in the Himalayas and the Tibetan Plateau.  Yak wool is considered to be more precious than other types of wool as it is a rarer type of wool given its localized geographical production, it is also very time-consuming to harvest requiring special skills - the fiber used to make the yarn you see here comes from the inner layer, an incredibly soft and fine hair that has a similar feel to cashmere. Due to being finer than other types of wool, yak wool needs to be processed gently.
Adding to its softness, yak wool is very warm and insulating and has fantastic moisture-wicking properties which makes it absolutely perfect for baby soakers. Being lanolin free, yak wool is the perfect partner for organic wool, the result being an hypoallergenic, non scratchy and non irritating yarn, wonderful to work with and amazing for baby and toddler knits.

Rosarios4 CAMWOOL

A high quality yarn, made of natural lamb’s wool, OEKO-TEX certified, that it is softer than sheep's wool, but just as warm. Its composition is 51% lamb’s wool and 49% acrylic.
We love Phildar Lambswool not only for its soft warmth but also because it does not lose its shape and is absolutely perfect for soakers and anything baby really.
